“A picture is worth a thousand words” is an adage that is probably familiar to most of us. This sentiment has never been more true than in the digital age. Images, design, print, and sound communicate deeply and are central to our efforts to reach the hearts and minds of people. We welcome creatives to come and join us, to learn about the indigenous minority language groups of Europe and to listen to God’s voice of love for them. Together we’ll invite others to join Him and His mission to see the Good News take root in people’s lives.
This summer we will be holding virtual student missions that include in-depth missiological training, spiritual formation, language study, and the creation of real-world resources that will aid us in the pursuit of the Linguæ Christi’s mission. Our focus will remain on equipping teams of students to use their God-given talents, skills, and training in the pursuit of seeing His Kingdom come in Europe. As the title “Creation” might suggest, the Christian students on these teams are producing or creating something tangible or doing research toward that end.
Digital artists and graphic designers
We have two teams where Christian students with these skills or training could use them in mission, Graphic Design Team 1 and Graphic Design Team 2.
Animators
We’re looking for Christian students who have created animations to join our Animation Development Team.
Video editors and writers
We’re looking for Christian students with a background in videography, video editing, and script writing to help in producing videos for a number of purposes on our Video Development Team.
Web designers and developers
We’re looking for Christian students with a background in web design and development to serve on Web Development Team 1 and Web Development Team 2.
Presentation designers
We’re looking for Christian students with a background in making presentations using tools like Powerpoint and Keynote as well as other audiovisual resources to assist during meetings, lectures, and speaking opportunities. This is our Presentation Development Team.
Social media content creators
We’re looking for Christian students with skills at creating social media content both for our existing platforms as well as to help launch us in new platforms for our Social Media Content Team.
App developers
We’re looking for Christian students with a background in app development to help us know how to launch ourselves into this world by joining our App Development Team.
Digital strategists
We are looking for Christian students with a background in communications, especially digital communications, to join our Digital Communications Team and help us to review and enhance our digital communications efforts and media.
Visual artists
We are looking for Christian students, who are talented visual artists, to join our Visual Art Production Team and develop original works of art, which would then be used in a number of practical ways. We hope to sponsor a virtual exhibition of the works produced at the end of our summer projects.
Musicians and composers
We are looking for Christian students who are talented musicians to join our Musical Composition Team and write, perform and record original musical works to be used in a number of ways in our ministry. We’re looking for performers (especially instrumentalists), composers, arrangers, orchestrators, songwriters (including singer-songwriters), as well as sound producers and engineers. We hope to sponsor a virtual concert featuring some of the original musical works at the conclusion of our projects this summer.
