Since the last series of blogposts, I’ve been doing a good bit of travel. Travelling and connecting with current and potential ministry partners in Europe have always been a bit part of my job in my role with Linguæ Christi—the networking and mobilisation role. During the Pandemic, much of that kind of travel simply was not possible. Consequently, now that things are opening up again, I’m trying to make up for lost time with a bit of a “vengeance,” as they say. There are three areas of travel to note for you.

I realise that in the November editorial I began the first of a few instalments, looking at concepts and principles which are tied to the word “language” and its permutations. However, as this month’s instalment of Sprachspielen falls in December, which is dominated by thoughts and celebrations of Christmas and looking forward to the New Year, I am going to take a brief pause from looking at the theme, which we started last month.

Over the next 6-8 months a number of us, serving on field in Wales and the Basque Country, are going to be moving around a good bit and in some cases making a major move over the long-term. Consequently, “transition” will be a theme for many of us over the next few months.
