Director’s Update — January 2021

Chat Linguæ Christi January 21, 2021

I would like to begin this month’s report by wishing you all a very Happy New Year! I also hope and pray that all of you reading this message also had a joyous time of celebration and worship over Christmas. I am very much aware that Christmas 2020 was probably quite unusual for everyone receiving this message.

Cymraeg (Welsh 1) – We have sadly had to take the difficult decision to postpone all this summer’s on-field mission projects for students and Churches and move these projects to summer 2022. Please, pray for those participants. pic.twitter.com/DLY7sEi0NO

RT @alanhirsch "Instead of ministry being all about human ingenuity and what we can do for God, it is rather about discovering what God is already doing, and in light of our gifts and resources, discerning how he wants us to join him." #reframationbook @standonthedesk @reframationbook

RT @richvillodas When we read psalms that don't reflect our personal current reality (psalms of lament, anger, etc), don't skip them. Those are words of many around the world & become opportunities to intercede. The Bible isn't a personal letter addressed to me. It's communal in its essence.

We're looking for someone to spearhead how we connect with people online. When used well & correctly, this is a powerful tool for connecting people with what the Lord is doing among these many people groups. linguaechristi.org/wanted-soc… pic.twitter.com/NEfn7T1OxE
